• This tropical shrub is good for beginners, with large round leaves resembling oversized Buxus foliage. 
• Light is very important to this bonsai and when it is properly exposed, the Natal Plum lives up to its name and can develop edible red plums after producing white flowers. 
• The Natal Plum can tolerate some drought. Make sure soil is well-draining and avoid over-watering.
