Plant Information 

The Ponytail Palm is not considered a true palm but is more like a succulent. It enjoys bright light to full sun, and with it, good ventilation. It prefers a deeper pot, with well-draining soil. During the growing seasons, it can be watered when the top 2 inches of soil become dry. But you can allow it to dry out between watering, as it would prefer this to be over-watered. In the winter, always allow it to dry out between watering.
